Crystal Hurdle teaches Creative Writing and English at Capilano College in North Vancouver, BC. A self-confessed Plath and Hughes addict, she wrote After Ted & Sylvia: Poems. Hurdle’s work has been published widely in Canadian (and other) journals, including The Globe and Mail, Canadian Literature, Event, Bogg, Fireweed, Dandelion, Whetstone, The Dalhousie Review, Grain, The Windsor Review, The Prairie Journal of Canadian Literature, Contemporary Verse 2, The Fiddlehead, Transition, Other Voices, Vallum, Room of One’s Own, The Antigonish Review, and The Capilano Review, of which she was Fiction editor in the late eighties, and on whose Board of Directors she currently sits.
