I’ve just read that one of the most eccentric hotels in the world is the “Library Hotel” in New York, N.Y. It contains 60 rooms and is set up according to the Dewey Decimal system. Each room, to my understanding, contains 6000 books including rooms for “Economics,” Mathematics,” and, yes, even “Erotic Literature.” Now, I’m wondering where they put the Contemporary Poety section–probably on the side with the noisiest street.
