“BookCrossing.com”

People who subscribe to BookCrossing leave books in places where others might find them. They might leave them in cafes in various parts of the world, on bus benches, in pubs, churches, or anywhere where people gather. They leave a tag in the book. Then readers can find these books, read them and leave them somewhere else. Due to the tag, some of these books have been traced on their journey throughout the world.

I think this is a rather nice harmless thing for book lovers to do, and you don’t need to join this club if you don’t want to. You can simply leave your book somewhere with a message to pass it on when whoever finds it is done reading it. Each person can leave a signature, name of location, and date in the front for the next person to see where the book has been.
